Armed Forces

The Constitution of the United States:

PREAMBLE

“We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Less military does not strengthen this nation, and will eventually cripple America—if it is not protected or guarded. To reduce constantly our nation’s armed forces is a mistake that Congress can never afford to make. This makes light of our government’s ineptness to do its job in regard to the Constitution’s Preamble. Specifically, “… provide for the common defense, …”

I am an advocate for a strong military, with far more advanced military equipment, and adding more men and women to our armed forces. I would even add older men (like myself) and women, too, and have those in Congress serve with them for a short period of time. Let them first go through our military, and only then will they merit the right to serve this nation.

Our armed forces need to protect our nation and its borders. This cannot be accomplished by sitting idly by watching and doing nothing.

An email has been circulating since 1993 titled “Allah or Jesus?”* This story is said to be true and to have taken place. However, I do not care about the deep analysis given by many critics. I am singling out only the truth found within one part of the article. The part I refer to is the response given: “Let me ask you a question…”

“…would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and wants you to be with me?….”

The question should not be about Allah or Jesus but about their respective religions. This is the true distinction between living and death that only a radical religion would propose. The article should not come down to the two religious figures or their religions but only to a radical religion. Both religious figures represent true religions. However, there is a small group representing themselves as a radical Islam religion, which is not a religion at all because it goes against all the true religions. All true religions are for peace, and you can never have two opposing ideologies for living and death, peace and war––they contradict each other.**
